🚀 What Awaits You Here?
- Your main goal will be to improve and maintain the organic search visibility of our platforms across the HU, RO, and BG markets. You will focus primarily on technical SEO and work closely with our development team.
- You will monitor organic search performance daily using tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
- You will analyze technical SEO issues, ranging from indexation problems and redirect chains to crawl errors, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and hreflang tags.
- You will prepare clear, developer-ready briefs based on your findings, track their implementation, and measure the real impact of these changes.
- You will connect teams, collaborating closely with product, development, and content teams across countries, as well as aligning with local market managers in Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria.
- You will drive special projects, such as comprehensive technical SEO audits, competitor research, and tracking search engine algorithm updates to adjust our strategy.
🛠️ What Do We Expect From You?
- We are looking for a teammate where drive, motivation, and the willingness to push things forward matter more than checking every single technical box. However, you won’t be able to do without these fundamentals:
- 3–5 years of hands-on SEO experience with demonstrable results in technical SEO.
- Deep understanding of technical SEO (crawlability, indexation, redirect management, site architecture, XML sitemaps, robots.txt).
- Experience with Core Web Vitals and page performance optimization.
- Proficiency with core SEO tools (Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and/or SEMrush).
- Ability to write detailed technical specifications that developers easily understand, along with a basic knowledge of HTML/CSS relevant to SEO (schema markup, meta tags, hreflang).
- Native Hungarian and very good English proficiency (C1–C2), as you will communicate daily with our international team.
- High level of autonomy – the position requires physical presence in Budapest. While you will have on-site collaboration with the local development team, you will operate independently within your SEO scope.
- An advantage (but not a requirement) if you have:
- Experience with e-commerce or marketplace platforms.
- Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and web analytics (GA4).
- Basic knowledge of log file analysis.
